An Electronic Import Order (ABI) is a document used in Mexico to manage and record the import of goods into the country electronically. The ABI is part of the Mexican customs system known as the Integrated Automated Customs System (SAAI).
INFORMAL IMPORTATION
Informal importation refers to the entry of goods into a country without complying with the established legal and customs requirements. This type of importation takes place without the payment of taxes, tariffs or other customs charges, and without following the formal procedures for customs declaration and clearance.
INBOND (DOOR TO DOOR USA)
The term "Inbond" refers to a specific customs regime used in the United States. It is known as "Door to Door" or "Door to Door Inbond." This regime allows the transportation and storage of foreign goods within the United States territory without the payment of tariffs and other customs taxes until they are cleared to their final destination.
INBOND (SAME PORT)
The term "Inbond" may also refer to a customs regime used in the United States called "Same Port Inbond." In this case, it is a procedure that allows the transportation of goods from one point within a port of entry to another point within the same port of entry without the payment of duties and other customs taxes.
IMPORTER BOND
Importer's bond, also known as customs bond or customs guarantee, is a requirement established by the customs authorities of many countries to ensure compliance with customs obligations by importers.
